Synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook?

I used to have a BlackBerry that I synchronized with MicroSoft Outlook. Yesterday I got an LG Ally but I don't know if, or how to synchronize it. Can it be done, and if so, How?

Yes, the Ally is capable of Syncing with Exchange. Right now their are some issues with the Calendar Sync portion of the process but hopefully those issues will be resolved in an upcoming update... To set up the initial Sync process...

Go to settings, then accounts & Sync
At the bottom of the screen is an "Add Accoumt Button", press on it and choose the type of account you are setting up. For Exchange, choose Corporate Account.
Next fill in the information for your Email System. If you're not sure about your email settings, contact your I.T. Dept.
Fill in your Email address nd Passord. then choose whether you want email to be sent from this account by default
Next add your Domain in front of your user name, if you need the domain.
Add your Email Server name, and finally turn on the SSL option if your server requires it.
This should get you going...

I have found that with my LG (ALLY), for some reason the LG enters an event into my google calendar with me (the user) as a guest in the event. When this "guest" is deleted the Outlook sync works. If you don't do this extra step Outlook does not record the event, but google calendar and the LG calendar do.

Anyone have a solution to this yet??

Unlike the previous post, I do not have an Exchange server that I am connecting to. I sync my Outlook with Verizon's email and had the Blackberry before that I could sync my contacts and calendar. How can I sync my Outlook's Calendar and Contacts to my LG-VS740 (Ally)? I looked at the LG Outlook Sync software but it does not work with this phone. Any suggestions?
