DVR to PC Media Manager help

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to download recorded shows from the DVR to my PC? We had this feature with TiVo. I was able to download them to the PC and then burn my own DVD of the show to watch it later. We just had Fios installed in our home for the internet and TV. I do know how to share my photos and music from the PC to the TV. Thank you for your help.

yes you can transfer movies etc to your pc you will need additional hardware such as a Plextor PX-TV402U (i dont work for them) and the software that comes with it
