There was a Verizon USENET form a long time ago with Verizon management participation. If we had a problem it was, at times, taken care of by Verizon. That forum is no more first Verzion stopped helping now it is totally gone.

So does anyone from Verizon with the power to do anything monitor or contribute to this glorious new forum?

There are some Verizon Employees (identified by "Employee" status and the Verizon logo) that contribute to the forum occasionally, but this is mostly peer-to-peer support. If you want to get an answer from a Verizon Employee, you would probably have better luck with the options on the Contact Us page.

To get an idea of who the VZ contributers are, use the "User Search" feature. Type in "employee" and hit search.
