Just got the email,
Your Wait for the Verizon FiOS TV 500GB DVR Is Over
The h3ll it is! ..... for 3 reasons and 2 reasons especially:
1. The cost of hard drive storage has plummeted. Micro Center is now selling 2 TERABYTE drives for $69.99 and 1 TB drives for $44.99.
2. Your existing DVR recordings are not transferrable to the new box.
3. You cannot plug in an external hard drive into this new box.
The link on the picture of the new box in the email doesn't even work.
AT&T uVerse has had a 500GB DVR box available for over a year now,
So just who the heck is Verizon kidding on this?
