I cannot get my VPN Client to work. The tech department at my job said that I needed to contact Verizon. We tried to "ping" our company server and it is not reaching the firewall. When we did the 30 step ping test, it stopped on the 6th step. When I contacted Verizon, they told me that I needed to configure my router, but would only direct me to the screen that needs to be updated, but would not assist me with what information I need to update. I have the port number and the server name.
I tried to enter the information that I have but, I get no further than I did before I started making changes to the router settings.
The Verizon tech told me that my next step is to pay for their expert technical service which will cost me $89.95. But prior to doing that I was hoping that someone has bad the same problem and was able to figure it out and can provide some guidance.
Is there anyone else who has had an issue getting their VPN to work?
