I tried to sync up the DVR Manager app on my iPhone with my HD-DVR but my STB isn't showing the STBID number, it says:
"Status: STBID not found. please contact customer service representative at (888)553-1555"
I called the 1-888 number and the kid on the other end could not get my box to show the STBID. He had me reset my router (lost all my custom settings) and reset the box and send refreshes- none of this fixed it. He said he would have to escalate the ticket but, and I quote, "I don't know if they will call you back or not." Seriously??
We had our box replaced about a month ago and shortly after my wife was unable to view on-demand content until she called a number and "registered" the box. Why the tech didn't do this when he was on-site I do not know. After she called on-demand was not working.
I had setup the Remote DVR on my previous STB with my Blackberry so we have the service and it was setup at some point.
One other thing, if I go to myverizon.com and try to pull up my settop boxes in my account information it shows no boxes on my account.
We are watching all our channels and recording shows just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
