Amber color light on router

My internet went down this morning and on the router there is a amber colored light where the internet spot is at and i can not connect to the internet it shows that im connected but then it says no internet connection if ne one could help i would appreciate it

Check all your connections.

Cycle power on the router.

If that does not help, then try a reset to factory default. Use a paperclip to press the reset button on the back of the router. Hold it in for 15 to 30 seconds to be sure.
