My Verizon remote (Phillips 1445302) is so weak that I took it in to Verixon and had it replaced - and it is still real weak. I replaced the batteries, and I still have to be within five foot of the front of the box for it to work. Verizon said that it is normal the Phillips remote is known for being real poor. Is this true or is the customer service lady just saying what she has to to get off the phone? My Comcast remote would work from the dinning room 20' away. Any tips will be appreciated. Mike
