Remote DVR

I am having an issue with my Remote DVR service. I have remote DVR active on my Home Media DVR. I am able to access that from FiOS TV Central. However, I have two additional DVR's that I would like to access. I currently see them listed under Set Top Boxes, but I can do nothing with them. I cannot rename them and they do not show on the DVR tab.

Someone please help. I can provide the unit addreses if someone from Verizon can help.

Rob,

You can only play with 1 DVR at a time if you want us to move your remote access to another DVR we can do that if you would like.

So the answer is that you cannot access more than one DVR via remote dvr on the web? There are people on this forum and others saying just the opposite and providing proof. Nonetheless, it seems completely silly, that you cannot access more than one. That being said, the whole Home Media DVR is lacking many many many things. Looks like it may be time to cancel the service.

you said that you saw some other posts that said you could? please could you post thos links for me. We've never had the capability for a DVR to see another DVR I'm sure it won't always be like that but its something currently not offered. Now like I said above I can change the DVR that is the hub station for you if you so choose.

Maybe you misunderstood. I am aware that one DVR cannot see another at this point. All I am trying to do is to be able to see all my DVR's via FIOS TV Central online. I am told that "Gustavo" knows all about this and there is an internal memo about this capability.

I can see and program my hub dvr at FiOS Central. I can see my other set-top boxes listed, but I cannot get them to be enabled for Remote DVR.

So to be clear (since the website isn't), you cannot set more than one dvr to record remotely, but you should be able to see the status of all your dvr's on FiOS TV Central?

Since I changed stb's away from home media, due to the terrible navigation characteristics of a stb accessing a program from a home media dvr, all my dvr's are now named "self install," and I can't change the names, for what I can see. I have sent an email to Verizon asking about that, and no response at all for several days!

Wrong. Please read this post. I do NOT know how many DVR's you can control from your cell phone, since I don't own one of the three models to which this capability is limited, nor do I use Verizon Wireless.
