Verizon Recently added some Widgets to give us access to Twitter and Facebook.
Beyond that you can not access the Internet via your TV without some type of Media Center PC with seperate connections to your TV.

If your PC has dual video outputs you can connect one to your TV and use USB extensions with keyboard and mouse. You would need to configure the dual outputs to clone and prefered resolutions. Or wireless keyboards and mouse. I have a dedicated PC at my 46" Samsung just for the media center. This way you get everything, and not just what someone else thinks you should get.
