I Need HARMON KARDON AVR 254 REMOTE CODE for FIOS REMOTE!!

Hi folks...

New to Fios here and loving it so far.

HOWEVER, I cannot seem to fins a code on the Fios remote that will operate my Harman Kardon AVR 254. It would be great to be able to use only the Fios remote for most everything.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE CORRECT REMOTE CODE?

Write down the remote codes for the devices you want to set up.
Turn on the device you want to program into your remote, for example if you are programming your remote to control your TV, then turn on the TV.
Press and hold the appropriate device button and press OK.
Release both buttons. The device buttons blink twice.
Enter the remote code for the device (if there is more than one remote code listed for your equipment, start with the first remote code in the list).
The device button blinks three times.
Point the remote at the device and press the Power button.

Yes, I have tried them all. Some turns the AVR OFF, but none will turn it ON!

WHAT IF NONE OF THE CODES WORKED?

If none of the codes worked, try the following procedure. (As before, we will use the example of a TV. For other devices use the appropriate Device Key instead of the

TV key in step 2 and 3.) TV key.

1. Turn on your TV.

2. Press and hold the

4. Release both keys. The Device Keys will blink twice.

5. Press 9 - 2 - 2

6. Point the remote at the TV.

7. Press the Play Button

8. Press Double arrow (right) it's the fast forward button.

Every time you press the Double arrow the remote sends out a new power-off command to the TV. Keep pressing until the TV turns off. (You can press to go back)

9. When the TV turns off, you have found the right code. Press OK to store this code. Exit.

Note: There are over 200 TV and DVD codes. The most common codes are tried first, but you may still need to press over 200 times to find the right code. If you reach the end of the list of codes the entire remote will flash twice and return to normal operation. You can exit programming at any time by pressing

If this doesn't work then the remote simply can't program your TV and you will want to look for an alternative solution like EITHER getting a new and different store bought universal remote, or live with using two remotes.
