A few months back Verizon has installed an underground FiOS box with doors on my property when my neighbors were getting their service. The box is located in the middle of my front yard. A friend of mine told me that because the box is located on my land, I may be entitled to land lease/rent payments from Verizon.
I'd like to know if it is true and what my rights are regarding this.
