When I open Outlook and try to receive mail on my computer, it is trying to download more than 3,000 "new" mail. This doesn't happen on my iphone or on verizon.net, even though it's the same account. Any ideas on fixing this glitch?
go to http://webmail.verizon.com and see how many mail messages are in there. If it's truly 3000 then you may need to clean it out a bit.
if there is nothing you want from the inbox, then you can just hit delete all or you can select ten - twenty at a time.
