How to watch a show I missed??

I was so overwhelmed with using the new remote that I think, not sure, that the technician said it's possible to watch a program that already aired, perhaps even a week or so, after it originally aired? Can anyone explain how to do this? Thanks, timbo

Programs MAY be available On Demand. Depress the On Deman button on your remote and browse. If you have subscription/movie channels, then brows to that area (movies and other programming is usually available there). If it's a network or othe national channel program, browse the HD/Free area.

I have the same question. I was told I would be able to watch up to the last 4 eppisodes of shows on the channels that supportd this feature. I have not found a way to do this yet.

No provider allows you to watch the last four episodes of any program you want. If they are available onDemand, then, yes, you can go to VoD for that. But you can't just magically watch previously aired TV unless you record it on a DVR.

This is what OnDemand is for.

Now, if you are watching a SD channel, your DVR will automatically keep the last two hours or so in it's base, which you can rewind and watch.

It all depends on the program and the network, not all shows are On Demand, but it seems there is a lot there.

Surprised the installer did not walk you through the remote, ours was very thorough.

Push the On Demand button under the down arrow, then Browse All, then to Free, then All and find the network if it is available and browse to the show. If you want HD make sure you follow that tree.

Coming from Dish we love this feature, we even watch shows we might not have given a chance because of the limitations of recording capacity on DVRs.

press the on demand button and then navigate to browse all and then navigate to either FREE or Premium subscriptions (this is where you'll find the extra's your subscribed to and their on demand counter parts) normally it is the last four episodes, but it's dictated by the network you are watching.

There's also a chance that the show may be available for streaming somewhere online, depending on what show it is. There are several places to look, I'd recommend starting somewhere like hulu.com.

You can't on verizon. Comcast allows you to watch past episodes of network and some cable network shows that you have missed. Verizon charges and that is if they are even available on demand.

There is a lot of Free VOD including ABC CBS NBC etc. I am able to watch a lot of stuff.

Not every network show is available with VOD, but that's not necessarily Verizon's fault. Some studios keep their shows off VOD, and some networks hold episodes back for a week or more.

If you can't find your favorite show on VOD, check the network's web site -- you might be able to watch the show on your computer screen.
