Going Green with Paperless Billing!!

I see that Verizon saved 52,000 trees last year by going green! I grow trees for a living. When trees, that were initially planted for the use of paper or other byproducts, are "saved" from being cut down and used for their intended purpose, there is no longer a need to replant seedlings. The tens of millions of seedlings I spend all summer growing in the hopes of sending them off somewhere to be replanted and allowed to grow into big trees, will never get that opportunity. Suddenly, the number of seedlings someone may have wanted to plant, prior to saving the trees they already have, is drastically reduced. And that means those several million little seedlings have to go in the garbage. So how many trees are really being "saved" by going paperless and preventing the forest industry to continue thriving as it has been doing for hundreds of years?

I do not understand. Are you saying it is better to cut down living, thriving trees that have taken years to grow so more seedlings can be planted and again cut down?

I understand you do this for a living, but ais your concern more for the trees or your job?
