SLOW VISS update

It's been happening for the last 2 weeks and it's very annoying.

Every time I start up my computer, the automatic VISS starts to run. It will take up to one (1) hour to get my computer up and running.

I'm just about to cancel VISS or smash th computer against the wall. What can be done to FIX this issue?. Also if I run McAfee virtual technician IT WOULD TAKE FOREVER to open.

Any suggestions? I have FIOS. Is there any may to cancel the annoying update?

Personally, I'd uninstall and reinstall to see if it is a glitch in the software. Also make sure that you dont have any other anti-virus software running that can be conflicting.

My lap takes a long time to start up after log on as well. It was fine until Verizon tech sat down at it and did her thing. I uninstalled all the stuff that showed up on my "desktop" all the Verizon icons for this and that. It helped a little, but still lagging. I feel your pain!
