Am I activated or not?

Yesterday the FIOS installer told me I had to 'activate' my account online. He said that since I don't want a verizon email address but want to continue to use gmail, that when the installer got to the email part I should just close the window and I'm done.

But the activation program is still on my desktop and says it's 46% finished.

Am I activated now? Or should I keep going? I don't really want another email address to deal with, nor do I want any other software stuff, I don't think...

SOLVED! 3 minutes after posting this, a FIOS inspector just showed up to check our installation and he answered my question! Which was that yes, I was already activated and didn't need to continue the installation.

Although you may want to complete the process and create yourself a verizon email address.

The address will come in handy if you want to sign up for online account access.

Complete the process. It will only suggest items to you but you can customize as you go without being forced to download anything. If you create an email adress with us it does not mean you are forced to use it now.
