Port forwarding problem...

Here's the situation. Internally my FIOS router is 192.168.1.1 and I have it setup to use remote management on port 80 (externally and internally). I have another device at 192.168.1.2 that also has a web component. I want to setup port forwarding so that the external port is 8080 and the internal port stays 80. I feel like I have it configured properly in the router, but I'm still not able to access 192.168.1.2 remotely by going to myhostname.com:8080. What gives? A screenshot of my rule is below:

#1 What is the brand and model of the FIOS router ?

#2 Is 192.168.1.2 the LAN IP of this other device OR if this device has a WAN port, is that the WAN IP of it?

#3 Also: What is the brand and model of the device at 192.168.1.2 ?

The rule appears to be correct and should work fine.

Did you set the rule active in your port forwarding screen?

Did you check your logs to see if the traffic is arriving? and if it shows errors?

Personally I wouldn't allow direct external remote access to my router, especially on port 80. Way too many people probing the well known ports out there. and how often is it likely that you need to change your internal settings from the outside.
