verizon service point

Recently the Verizon service point program is not allowing my systems to shut down. I found that the only way is to manually close the program. Has anyone else noticed this issue? It's getting bothersome to have to close a program that wasn't manually opened in order to shut down properly.

I am having the same problem. I just figured out that was the problem after 2 weeks of frustration. What does this service point program do that is worth the hassle?
