Can anyone give me the telephone for Verizon FIOS Internet tech support? I do not have a Verizon telephone account and calling Verizon's 1-888-553-1555 gets no nowhere.

What I'm actually looking for is a way to determine if there is any outages or problems in any given area. Verizon Central is pretty much useless conveying information in a timely manner.

That's the number. Enter your phone number unless you don't have verizon as your phone service, u will say "I don't have one" then at the 2nd prompt, enter the number you gave to sign up for service. Once you are in the main menu, press "2"
