How do you enable remote DVR?

I just got FIOS and can't seem to get the remote DVR to work. From the settings menu, it gave me a loginID and and confirmation code. When I got to verizon.vom/fiottvcentral and try to sign in using those credentials, I keep getting an invalud username error.

Is there some other place that I need to regsiter before I can do that?

I have no fios phone or email address.

Any help would be appreciated.

do you have internet with verizon or TV only?

I have both, TV and Internet (double play).

The tech that did my install didn't really give me any sort of login or account info and didn't know how the remote dvr worked, but assumed all I needed was the credentials you get on screen when going to settings->remote dvr

If you have not already registered a verizon.net email/account, you will need to do so....

Use the "Contact Us" link and speak/chat with a tech rep to get your order number and register.... once registered, you will be able to login and use the Web-Remote DVR feature.
