Verizon countdown is messed up

They have been digging up my neighborhood and we recently recieved a card from Verizon advising us that we could go to www.verizon.com/countdown and enter our address so that Verizon could notify us when FIOS is available. However, when we enter our address, the website does a search, comes up with a similar street address in another town/zip code, and prompts us to enter another address (infinite loop). Our street and house have been in existance for over 12 years and we are Verizon wireless/landline, and DSL customers, so surely Verizon knows where we live. Dear Verizon, what's the freakin problem with your website???

When I went to http://www22.verizon.com/Residential/FiOSInternet/ and entered in my address it corrected me to, as addressed in

#2 Since you have DSL from them,

a) Go to

b) Enter your phone number.

Already tried that. When I give it either my phone # or my address, I get:

Based on the information you entered,
FiOS Internet is currently not available in your area.

However, it gets better - When I got home today, there was a hanger on my front door knob that proclaimed that FIOS is available. It gave a phone number to call. When I called it, I was routed to a voicemailbox where I was asked to leave my info and "someone will call back". Of course, if you phone in an order, you don't get all the incentives that Verizon is currently offering for an online order (money off each month, money back, and free install).

So based on this, I'm not biting the hook right now. Until Verizon gets their head out of their arse and syncronises their database with reality so I can do an online order with all the incentives, I see no reason to pay extra and call in the order. I'm in no hurry and what I have seems to be working just fine.
