Help regarding remotes

Hi,

I have recently addedd FIOS TV servies and have one multi roon DVR aand a HD reciver

QIP7232 & QIP7100.

Both of them came with the same remotes.

My set up is that I have all the re3civers in a closet and run HDMI cables from one location.

As thh remotes are same , I want to know how to make sure each remote works independently.

( I had dish before and we can assign a remote to a recivers, so it kows which reciver should work with a reciver)

Please help.

There is no way to set each receiver to an independent code.

The only thing you could do is to use a remote IR extender / repeater in each destination room that would feed the appropriate STB in the cabinet.
