Found, duplicated, and reported to Tech Support.
As a new-to-FiOS (16 years with DirecTV), I tried to schedule about 15 series to record. I used the SEARCH function and set up series record from the results of the individual searches. All Series showed up in the Series Manager. None of them showed up in the Schedule, and none recorded.
Using the GUIDE, and scheduling series recordings did work as advertised and the shows showed up both in the Series Manager AND in the Schedule - and they were recorded.
The hiccup was/is that if you schedule series to record via the SEARCH function, you MUST cancel (delete) the show from the Series Manager BEFORE you can re-schedule the series by using the GUIDE.
