I am having a problem with picture distortion on our bedroom tv. I have tried two set top boxes and still have not resolved the problem. Any help on this problem would be appreciated.
Likely a weak signal. Since it's only that TV could be a bad splitter or cable in between.Could even be a bad crimp on one of the cable ends. If it's not all hidden in walls check every connection
it started with pixelation last night but today 10/5/12 around 2pm I lost several channels,.
Boston area 115 NECN, 53 FX, BTN, etc. Called tech support...told to check my coax cable in the house... her tests show noise on the line.
Unresolved 45 minutes later.
Both TVs affected. 1 settop box, 1 basic modem but no DVR here.
I've had this problem for months. It happens on 2 TV's on the exact same channels. Always the same channels which happen to be HD channels. Verizon replaced my STB twice but that did not resolve the issue. Not sure what else to do.
