ESPN HD Video and Audio problems

The digital input for ESPN HD is coming in distorted. There are freezes in areas on the picture and the audio is in and out. The effect is similar to the kind of problems we had when we had satellite service and a storm was coming in. Is this a Verizon problem or something on our end? thanks.

The most common reason for this audio/video distortion is a signal break down in the house. Start by unscrewing the coax cable from the back of the box and the wall outlet. Make sure the tips are straight and clean of oxidation. Screw back on. If persisting, check another box in the house to see if its doing the same thing. Depending on the results, there are different resolution paths. Please update us with the outcome.

Hello,

I am having the same problem with the ESPN HD channel. I changed coax cables and also checked my second receiver (no problems there). The problems persist only with the DVR set Top box. What else can I do?
