TV Closed Captioning

Unable to remove closed captioning from the TV. This captioning just popped up about a week ago and cannot be eliminated. It is not response to toggling of the asterisk (CC) key, and does not respond to using Menu-Settings-Accessibility and turning the captioning off. Nothing seems to affect it, and it is uncertain how it began.

Is it possible that you have the CC setting set to "on" in your TV setting, as opposed to the STB settings? No amount of changing one will affect the other!

The TV setting actually was the problem. Forgot all about this.
