I notice that on Smithsonian Channel HD sound fades from the normal volume to lower volume then back to normal . Anyone knows why its happening?

I haven't heard reports of this happening from others. Is this still happening? Is it happening on other channels as well? Is it every program on that channel or just a certain one? Please reply back if further assistance is required.
Just noticed this on Natgeo as well. But not happening on fox soccer. Seems to be random hit miss. Not all shows. Guess not loose connection?
When its happening, is it happening on other boxes as well? Have to isolate to see if its the signal or the equipment causing this.
