swapping and upgrading cable boxes

I want to upgrade one of my boxes top a DVR and possibly switch one of two of my other boxes to converters to save some money.

Who can help me with pricing questions, and how do I make the swap?

Hello,

Here is general pricing (National) on the set top boxes:

- a DVR is $16.99 a month; a Multi-Room DVR is $19.99 a month. The MRDVR allows you to view/set-up recordings at other STBs in the home (except for the digital adapter).

- a regular set top box that is HD-capable is $11.99 a month (LESS if you have more than one)

- a digital adapter set top box is $5.99 a month. The adapter provides standard-only programming with inability to view the Guide, Info, On Demand.

There is bundled equipment discount available if you have a MRDVR and/or other HD/SD boxes on the account.

To get the actual pricing and most cost-effective options on how much it would be to upgrade and swap out some of your set top boxes, please contact a Verizon representative:

If you choose store pickup of the set top boxes you can avoid the shipping charge.

It would be worthwhile to speak with a representative because they can also review your account to ensure that you don't lose any existing promotions (if there are) on any of your set top boxes if you swap them out.
