on demand

I understand that the on demand shows are updated when the network provides it, but why is fios so slow? I hate to have to bring up comcast here, but I've been having to go to my friend's house to watch my ahows because they update within days and fios is at lease a week. Why does comcast get the shows so fast and fios can't? I'm dying here- been a loyal fios customer for five years but this is getting to me! Anyone else?

I have noticed the same issue since I got Verizon 3 years ago. And half the time you can't even get what is on demand to even work.

I had the issue with it not working but it seems to have been fixed. I don't have DVR so i rely on the on demand feature...going on 2-3 weeks for most major shows without an update now. ..
