i have the Motorola Rival™ and every time i check the usage data at my verizon it keeps going up just a little, we have the block on mobil web. do you use data every time you send a picture text cause i like sending picture text thats why i got the 500 message with unlimited mobil to mobil so i can send picture text and to load pics on to facebook i only know how to text them to  facebook.

 

can anyone help cause i heard you can turn on data blocking but then you lose the ability to send picture texts,

and if this keeps going like this my dad will take me off his family plan and im out of work right now BooHoo  LOL

Sending and receiving picture messages does NOT count towards data usage.  I upload pics to Facebook (using text messages) and receive pics all the time and use no data.

 

You can block Mobile Web, downloads, apps, and still send / receive picture messages.  The TOTAL, national access block WILL also block picture messaging.  You can call, or have your Dad call (whoever is authorized to make changes on the account) and add the blocks for everything but picture messaging.

 

I don't know what is adding to your data usage - browsing ringtones and music on the phone?  Playing games?  It's NOT the picture messaging.
