Verizon Yahoo Calendar synch issue with IPad/IPhone

There is a 4 hour difference between my IPad/IPhone and the yahoo
calendar. As an example: When I enter an appointment into the yahoo for
8pm when the devices synch, the IPad and the IPhone have it showing up
at 4pm. The same 4 hour difference exists when I enter the an
appointment into the Iphone or Ipad. The two Apple devices are synched,
fine but the there is a 4 hour difference with the verizon yahoo calendar. I
checked the time zones and my computer is in eastern time zone and the
Apple devices says New York. So they appear to all be in the same time
zone.

How do I fix?

There seems to be a issue with the sync with Yahoo. Go to this link that des refer to syncing the Yahoo Calendar. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/calendar/yahoocalendar/sync/sync-01.html;_ylt=AqcRp11ucMxFwGdHhWdmW2lKiCl4 If you have Yahoo through Verizon and this does not resolve your issue, Please let us know and we will take steps to get you Yahoo support. If it is a stand alone Yahoo account, you will have to contact Yahoo directly.

I have this same issue - items added to a Yahoo Calendar via iPhone 5 shows up four hours later than defined via the Yahoo Calendar Browser interface. All time zone settings across the phone, the computer, and yahoo have been confirmed.

The link in the above reply is no longer functional. What steps are required to correct?
