Hi all,
I have a 2-year contract with FIOS right now, the reason I signed this contract four month ago was the representative was sure I could transfer the service when I move.
Now I am moving to another apartment in the same building and ask them for transferring my service. I was then told the price I am paying right now is no longer valid and they gave me a new price which means I have to pay $20 more per month for the second year. And that is not all, I have to start a new 2-year contract with them!!! That is ridiculous! How could that be called "transfer" ?? It is just asking you to sign a new contract except you don't get any deal this time!
I am wondering if anyone has the same situation and how to solve this. I probably have to move again in a year and don't want this happen again.
