Hi,
I cancelled my service back in April. At that time, I was told Verizon would be sending me shipping boxes so I could return my equipment. The boxes never showed up. After about a month and a half I got a bill for the equipment, I called to tell them to just send me those boxes they promised and I'd return the equipment. Still no boxes. A few more weeks pass, I call again. This time they suggest I drive over a half hour each way to drop off the equipment, but finally agree to send the boxes. This goes on until October - 6 months - until I FINALLY receive the boxes. I send back the equipment's today I get a bill in the mail for $1,027.12 for the equipment I returned a month ago. Of course the boxes had their shipping account info on it so I can't even track it to prove I sent them.
Is this always how you do business, Verizon? Are you mad at me for canceling my service so now you're punishing me with $1,027.12 in equipment charges that are unfounded? If I don't get a suitable answer either by this form or from your call centers I'll be sure to start posting this same things on public internet forums that aren't just for Verizon customers.
