Step by step instructions for programming a new remote?

Can someone please give me a link that might describe step by step instructions on how to program a new remote?

We recently had a problem with the functionality of our Phillips 265 remote and need to ask Verizon to send us a new one.

Not sure how to re-program this new remote to our existing TV.

Hello,

Here is a link for all FiOS TV remotes:

On that link, go to Verizon P265 and click on the 'Set up your remote' link.

Also, if your remote is the 2-button remote (it only has the 'TV' and 'STB' buttons on the top), then it is a Verizon P265 model. If you look at the back of that particular remote (battery cover), there are step-by-step instructions you can follow to program your remote to the TV without using a code.
