Remote not working for Fios STB

Remote works for TV, but not for the STB in living room.

I have the same model in a bedroom, and both remote work the STB in the bedroom, but not the STB in the living room

Any ideas? .

If the box is not responding to the remote, please unplug power cord to the box and plug it back in. Also make sure the STB button on the remote is pressed before trying to use it to control the set top box. If this does not solve your problem, please send me a private message.

I am having the same issue with my STB. Both the remotes stopped working on my DVR STB. Remotes continue to work for the TV though. Unplugging and waiting for the STB to reset did not work. Any ideas?

Some people still have the 4 button universal remote (TV AUX DVD STB)

and for those controllers you might have selected the tv button which would have turned off your set top box (STB) functions. So you would have to press the STB button to get them back.

If you want them lined back together you would click menu, customer support, in home agent, program remote and it will give you instructions on how to link the tv and stb power buttons together again

My remote stopped turning my STB on and off. I followed the instructions of pressing STB and OK then 9-7-7 then TV then STB. It continues to turn tv on and off, but not STB I unplugged the STB, I reset the STB - nothing helps.

BTW, the time also did not change (DST) on either of my STBs - had to reset it manually using the menu etc
