Media Manager

There doesn't seem to be a way to include the drive letters for mapped network drives as the source for media folders for scanning by the Media Manager -- only local drive letters. Is there a work around for this? There also doesn't appear to be a way to play home video MPEG files; that would be a recommended future feature addition.
