Any tips for reducing my monthly bill?

It looks like our family will be moving shortly and I wonder if i stay with verizon what the best method is to change my service to the new address and get some kind of savings?

We presently have a triple play bundle in place and the new address does have FiOS lines.

Is the best way to switch our service to do it online or speak with a real live person?

Stressed out about all this.

or maybe just leave verizon altogether for the Dish network. 🙂

I haven't checked recently but when I left Dish, it was decidely more expensive then Verizon.

Make sure you check equivalent packages and see what the prices end up as. And consider the cost of the other services, phone and internet, since you do get a bundled discount. And of course hardware rental costs.

Make no moves unless you are happy that your favorite channesl are included. Surprisingly a move to Verizon Extreme from the lower cost Prime both adds and LOSES some channels.

Consider lower internet speed, if you don't need the highest speed.
