Chat (not!)

Logged in. Invoked solicited Chat session. Chat mandated that I log in. I logged in again. Invoked solicited chat session. Chat mandated I log in. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Took screen captures to show I am logged in and chat will not allow me to "chat". So, it is a ruse. Verizon looks as though it offers chat to resolve issues or answer questions but in reality it denies the service they pretend to offer. This issue has been brought up before in prior complaints -- not just this time in Dec 2019. TRUTH: THERE IS NO CHAT SERVICE ACTUALLY OFFERED THOUGH IT IS SOLICITED ON-SCREEN. FAKE! VERIZON DOES NOT ALLOW CUSTOMERS A CHAT OPPORTUNITY ONLINE FOR SUPPORT ISSUES.

I am not the biggest fan of some of their antics, but chat does work. If not intermittent.

however you won't really get the best answer via that method.

calling although may have a wait is often times the fastest venue for support.
