Tree Removal requires Verizon to lower line

How do I expedite a service call for a lineman to temporarily drop the line to the ground so we can have trees cut down ( but not removed which costs 5 x as much ). For 2 weeks I have been corresponding by email. No customers presently use this section of copper line. But in the summer, a camp does.
