Has anyone experienced a darker picture lately. I turn on TV it is bright and instantaneously it goes darker. Could it be a weak signal?

A problem like you describe is unlikely because of a FiOS issue. What type and model of TV do you have?
I'd check your TV setting menu. Maybe there's a backlighting feature.

Given the original post was almost a month ago and there was no reply, the poster probably figured it out. It would be nice if they would post a followup here.
