Can't fast forward on DVR recorded programs.

I notice this on all my CBS DVR recorded shows that I cannot fast forward past commercials anymore. The show will fast forward through time scale, but when I stop the FF it is returned to the original spot of when I started to fast forward.

Why is this happening?

Yeah. Same here. I can rewind but can't forward. WTH. I want to be able to forward through commerials. That's the biggest feature of DVR recordings, that I like and utilize.Without this feature, I might as well cancel Fios TV and watch my programs online. Everything is available on the web nowadays.
