when I try and connect to my verizon on internet explorer, I get a flashing lock on the address bar. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Try clearing your verizon cookies and cache. On mine i traced it to a unsuccessful auto logon loop.
try going into internet tools. under security add verizon.com or .net as a trusted site. your computer is locking out tne verizon site as untrusted. the lock symbol means the site is lock out. just tell your computer to trust the site.reply to me if this works for you.
