I have been using the Fios DVR for almost a year now and am quite familiar with it's usage. I started having a problem a few days ago-such as trying to record a series and unable to do so. The only way to record is to do so is manually record each episode(what a pain)!!!. I tried calling the "help" line and all you get is an automated system with no way to get a "live" person. I then went to the live chat with someone who told me to "refresh' the set top box and the DVR(which I told him I had already done). Long story short-I received another box-installed it and am having the same problem. All I ask is to be able to get technical help on the phone with a LIVE person who might be able to solve my problem. I guess I will have to wait until my 2 years is up and then FIOS IS GONE!!! I should have NEVER took the 2 year price guarantee because now I am stuck.
