schedule recording online versus on DVR

I am new to FIOS.

I have found the online methods of scheduling a program to record. When there, I see settings for record this show, and for record this series.

When I look at scheduling programs to record on the DVR there are other features that I would sometimes like to use -- namely record this show at this time on this channel always, and extend recording time for this show/series.

Is there a way to access either of those features while using the online application?

In particular there is a show on CBS scheduled for 9-10 pm and I would like it to record from 9-11 pm because CBS sports often cause a delay in broadcasting.

From the DVR you can schedule a series with options, including extending the stop time.

Options are not available when sceduling a recording online. You will have to go to the DVR and modify it.

Thanks for the response. That is what I was afraid of. My problem is that I can read the computer screen quite well, but have to walk half way across the room to clearly see the small font on the TV screen.

I guess that once I have things set up the way I want them, I won't need to interact with the menu much.
