can someone please tell me how to turn off the closed caption
Look on the remote control for the "*" symbol on the number pad below the "7". The is a white "CC" symbol next to it.
When you press this button, you'll see this on the screen
CC1
Press again
CC2
Press again...
CC3
CC4
CC5
CC6
OFF
Just keep pressing it until you get to the "OFF"
You can also press "Options" then drill down the close caption menu to turn it off.
