My FIOS service went out overnight., and hadn't been restored by the time I left for work. Is there a way to check and see if it's back on?
We also had an outage here last night. First blip in the several years we've had FiOS. In our case, Internet and phone service was out but TV still worked.
I called tech support and they told me someone had knocked down a pole on a street near here, that repair crews were on the scene, and that service would be restored by 6 this morning. All turned out to be correct.
If you want to find out if you're service is back up and don't have any other way to do so before you get home, I suggest you call tech support: 1-888-553-1555. That worked for me.
