Samsung TV Remote & STB

My Samsung TV remote used to turn my FIOS STB/DVR off and on when the Power button on the Samsung Remote was pushed. The remote no longer powers the STB "ON". Powering off still works.

I checked the settings on the TV and the settings are checked for powering the STB device.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Thanks. I've been trying to resolve ths with Samsung and they suggested I post to FIOS. All of the Samsung options are correctly set.

Just wondering if a FIOS user encountreed thi problem

Definitely something for a Samsung forum on a Samsung site. Unless your Verizon remote also doesn't work.

This was also the case with DirecTV set top boxes. I'm confident that Samsung is ending all capabilities, why is the question.
