make sure you select terminate service at the prompt. Don’t bargain and continue to state I want to cancel service, I don’t want Fios , cancel my service today.
if you get any resistance contact your states Public Utilities Commission or Public Service Commission via a google search.
get a valid confirmation number for cancellation and a written acknowledgement.
you can cancel at a local Verizon Fios store location as well.
