I was billed by Verizon for DirecTV service for the period of 11/22/15 to 12/21/15. I was billed directly from DirecTV for the period of 11/29/15 to 12/28/15. There was three weeks of overlap/double billing. I paid DirecTV in full and subtracted the amount from my Verizon bill (with notation that I paid DirecTV's bill). Verizon notified me that my bill was short and that my account would be suspended. I tried calling and after jumping through all the automated hoops (answering questions), I was connected to what sounded like a fax machine screeching in my ear.
